HEMP SEED OIL
 |
Malcolm’s Miracle Anti-Aging Hand and Body Treatment
boasts 7.5% hemp seed oil—almost 3% more than
the industry average. Clinically proven to have biochemical
benefits when applied topically, hemp seed oil is the
only oil which naturally has Omega-6 Linoleic Acid and
Omega-6 Gamma-Linolenic Acid in a balanced combination
for the skin, making it easy to absorb and a remarkably
effective moisturizer and skin repair agent.
Hemp Seed Oil has been clinically proven to have biochemical
and therapeutic benefits to the skin when applied topically.
Hemp Seed Oil is the only oil that naturally has Omega-6
Linoleic Acid and Omega-6 Gamma-Linolenic Acid in the
same balanced combination as the skin. Because the EFAs
in Hemp Seed Oil resemble the skin’s natural oils
so closely, it allows for incredible moisture and hydration. *See

in allantoin, is used as an anti-inflammatory
and anti-irritant, and is reported to promote
skin cell regeneration and to prevent scar tissue
from forming. Wounds and burns seem to heal faster
when allantoin was applied, and comfrey’s
mucilage content has been reported to promote

*A note about herbs: when formulating this product,
I learned two important manufacturing terms: the difference
between using herbal ingredients in a body care product
“at therapeutic levels” versus “for
label claims only”. How high are the herbs on
the ingredient list? Ours are at therapeutic levels.
COLLOIDAL OATMEAL
Colloidal Oatmeal (Avena sativa) has a long history
in skin care and is well known for its soothing benefits.
Oat proteins leave a protective barrier on the skin,
which helps skin retain moisture and soothe itchy conditions.
In addition, oatmeal has a slight bleaching effect and
is said to help fade age spots and other skin imperfections
and to even out skin tones.
VITAMINS
Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate) is a
well-known potent antioxidant, and acts as a natural
preservative in skin care products. It protects skin
from cancer-causing free radical damage caused by environmental
elements, such as sun, wind, cold weather and pollution.
Vitamin E is essential in proper utilization of oxygen
in the tissues, thereby maintaining healthy, youthful
skin.
Vitamin A (Retinyl
palmitate) is an antioxidant widely used in the treatment
of acne and other skin conditions. Particularly beneficial
for dry or sun-exposed skin, it has a noted soothing
and hydrating effect on the skin (a deficiency of vitamin
A in the body reduces the mucopolysaccharides in the
skin, which accelerates the skin’s aging process).
Also a natural preservative, it promotes the formation
of new skin cells and helps improve skin softness.

Rosemary

therefore bring back moisture to dehydrated skin
naturally. It is an antioxidant, and is also known
to improve poor circulation, which helps bring
back skin’s youthful glow. *See
